With a professional background in education, media, publishing, counseling, and community leadership, Betty Sebrow has built a career that emphasizes mentorship and human connection. Betty Sebrow began her professional journey in education during the early 1980s, teaching English and science at several schools in Brooklyn. She served as an English teacher at the Yeshiva of Eastern Parkway and the Yeshiva of Kings Bay, while also teaching junior high school science at the Yeshiva of Brooklyn.

A defining part of her career has been her work in relationships, matchmaking, and personal coaching through Baila Sebrow Events, LLC. As a matchmaker and shadchan since 1982, she has helped individuals worldwide find marriage-minded partners based on shared values, goals, lifestyles, and compatibility. Her thoughtful and highly personalized approach has contributed to more than 500 successful marriages.
